There is no doubt Killarney in the South of Ireland is an old world tourist mega. When you arrive in the town and here the combine choruses of accents from all over the world you get the sense that this is a destination worth visiting.
It basically has style be it a five star holiday, bed & breakfast, or our spacious and private self catering accommodation it has it all.

Killarney has acres of wonderful open spaces to roam within easy reach of the town centre. These areas have some of the most breath taking landscapes in the world. Awesome is a word I imagine being used on a regular basis.
Because for many years it has marketed itself as a premier tourist destination it has assembled an ongoing list of attractions and events to persuade the visitor to return over and over again. Events like the Killarney International Rally of the Lakes May 2014. The legendary Killarney Races / Spring Festival – mid-May sees three days of horse racing amid the surrounding mountains and lakes, featuring both flat racing and a steeplechase course.
Another world recognized event the nearby Listowel Writers week 28th of May to the 1st June.
Killarney Summerfest – mid-July to early August, perhaps the most exciting event of the year after St. Patrick’s Day, the highly enjoyable Summerfest has street entertainment, live music, theatre and fun for all the family. Many of the attractions are centred around the Fitzgerald Stadium, while the ‘Summer Laughs’ comedy programme showcases local talent at venues in the town centre.

Of course from our view point at www.goholidaylets.com you should always choose the self catering option. Not to say the others are not of a high standard far from it. But for space privatise and value your own rented accommodation cannot be surpassed. By all means if you want to eat out pick and choose the best of the local eateries.
Visit Killarney you will not be disappointed.
